He told police that two Black men had attacked them, leaving behind an LA Clippers hat and a red-handled fishing knife. However, investigators were suspicious of Anderson from the beginning since his wounds were so much milder than his wife's. Soon, a witness came forward who claimed that Anderson had purchased a Clippers hat from him the very day of the murder. Then a store clerk identified him as the same man to whom he recently sold a red-handled fishing knife. Anderson was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison, and he began serving his sentence at Wisconsin's Columbia Correctional Institution alongside none other than Jeffrey Dahmer. In fact, he was cleaning a bathroom with Dahmer when both of them were beaten to death by a fellow inmate named Christopher Scarver
