Stephan Bibrowski, born in 1891, was a Polish man who had hypertrichosis, a rare disorder causing excessive hair growth all over his body and face. His mother believed the disorder was caused by witnessing his father being attacked by a lion while she was pregnant. As a child, Stephan was given to a German entertainer who used him as part of a freak show due to his appearance. However, it became clear that he was not a monster, and he gained recognition for his kindness, intelligence, and ability to speak five languages. He became a successful entertainer in his own right and retired in his 30s. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 41 due to a heart attack.
