We can say by experience with our visitors that she is „the ship that everybody knows“. There is probably no other ship's history that has been so deeply analyzed as the one of the Titanic. This include artistic, design, technical, biographical, social and many scientific points of views. The ship has inspired great works of fiction and, sadly, many conspiracy theories. The story of the Titanic is not just history. It is a phenomenon of global popular culture that has transcended generations. It is also a great gateway to wake interest in maritime history. With all this in mind, our curators faced the challenge of where to fit our 1:150 scale model of the Titanic in our exhibitions.
