Henry Arthur Wright was born June 9, 1946 in Keokuk, Iowa to Mr. Roy E. Wright and Mrs. Marjorie J. (Norton) Wright. He was nominated to the United States Naval Academy from California graduating from Oakland High School. Midshipman Wright was a member of the 15th Company and then the 22nd Company. A frequent member of the Superintendent’s List, he majored in German and Economics. Midshipman Wright graduated 207 of 889 Midshipman on June 7, 1967 and commissioned in the United States Marine Corps.
