Bibi Dalair Kaur was a trained Khalsa warrior and a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh.

The Guru gave her the responsibility to guard Anandpur Sahib against the Mughals in his absence. He left 10 armed men to assist her.

There were around 100 women warriors when the Mughals attacked the fort at Anandpur Sahib. She bravely defended the fort and offered resistance. Before attaining Veergati, she, along with her army, eliminated hundreds of Mughal soldiers.

Bibi Dalair Kaur's story of valor and resistance against the Mughals is described in detail in Chapter 9 in Book 2 of #SaffronSwords  along with 51 more episodes/chapters of resistance against invaders by our warrior ancestors from across Bharat from 712 CE to independence.
