I have not received any support from the father or family. I am a poor mom, and I hope a good Samaritan will adopt her. Her name is Purity.” It’s sad to hear and see things like this. It’s also sad to see what life can force you to do.

A true life story...i cried reading this😭😪. Mind who u keep as friends ooo, 85% people around u no like u ooo... A must read👇 George Udom posted a story by a lady from USA: inside life!!! LIFE !! You Can Never Understand A Human Being. I met Sylvester Mumba in 2012 in Livingstone, Zambia when I went there on vacation.Sylvester used to sell things made out of wood at a place called Mukuni park in Livingstone. He was a talented woodcarver, he used to make decorative crafts out of wood. I got his phone number after I asked him to make a wooden map of United States Of America with my names written on it. From that day, he became my friend and we started communicating even when I came back to USA. I was 23 years old and single when I met him, I just did not feel happy, I was basically lonely and I would call Sylvester whenever I felt lonely. We would chat for hours non-stop. He had broken english but I understood everything. He used to tell me that" we were meant to be because only

Some peõple do not know that there were ancient African games that had tremendous popularity and respect even before the arrival of sports like foôtball, baskëtball,Vollëyball and others to Africa, but regrettably these sports were dropped and slowly forgotten.  Long before c.olonialism, the high jump was a national sport at which Rwandans 🇷🇼 excelled. It was a tradition of great importance in Rwandan society, as men would frequently jump over 6 feet 6 inches in displays of their physical abilities. At important celebrations, the Rwandan kings would order a series of cultural activities to be performed at the court. The high jump was one of the activities typically included at such events. It was also performed at important weddings and outside the court at local gatherings of importance. Both the young and the old played gusimbuka urukiramende. Children would plant two sticks, horizontally place another pole, and compete according to their ages. Kids tending livestock used their br

So my husband will always watch me, when I'm applying my cream on my body, after 3 weeks or before, expensive cream will finish.  He'll buy new one and not say anything, just watching me, as usual. So two days ago, my cream was at the butt, so he came and checked. My love, the cream you just bought now now is almost finished?. He asked. My sweetness, you know everything these days is like that, so I need money for my soap and cream and other things. He looked at me. Do you always apply some as butter on the bread, or you used it sometimes as condensed milk for tea?. Wale, butter and condensed milk ba wo, alaye jor jor jor.  Why are you sounding like that, sweetness it's women's thing. So you won't understand. I said. Exactly, I can never understand, I can clearly see it. Oburu gan, oti ye mi. Sugar, you can never understand and know what a woman is going through. I said. He responded, rara oo, who I'm I to know and understand a woman's plight, what she's

He returned to England and in January 1915 managed to enlist. He joined the 2/4 Battalion Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry and was granted a commission. William was wounded in July 1916 and again in November of that year. In late 1916 he contracted trench fever and was sent back to England to recover. He re-joined his unit at the front in May 1917 and fought in the 3rd Battle of Ypres. On the morning of 22nd August he was killed leading “D” company in an attack in the St Julien area. A San Francisco newspaper editor, Richard Gaikowski was known for his obsession with the counterculture movement of the 1960s . But was he also the elusive Zodiac Killer? One of Gaikowski's former colleagues claimed that he was the murderer — and that Gaikowski had even invited him to commit violent crimes together. Some researchers say that variations of Gaikowski's name appear in the ciphers that the Zodiac Killer sent to local journalists. And perhaps most notably, Gaikowski was committed to a hospital for going "berserk" just before the killer's letters suddenly stopped. One expert on the case is so convinced of Gaikowski's possible involvement that he said, "If I was an employer looking to hire the Zodiac, he'd probably have the most impressive résumé in my eyes

The Execution Axe and Block, The Armory, the White Tower, The Tower of London

Image
The Execution Axe and Block, The Armory, the White Tower, The Tower of London This ax leaning against a thick wooden block was used during the execution of high-profile prisoners. In England, the practice of beheading by ax and occasionally by sword was considered to be the most humane method of execution. As such, it was thus typically reserved for prisoners of noble birth who had been sentenced to death. Ten people were beheaded on Tower Green which stretches to the west of the White Tower. The beheaded queens The most well known among those executed on or near Tower Green were three former queens of England. Two of those queens were wives of Henry VIII. Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII, was in her early 30s and Catherine Howard, Henry's fifth wife, was barely in her 20s. Both were accused of adultery, but neither may have been guilty. The third queen to meet her end within the Tower was 16-year-old Lady Jane Grey. She was on the throne for just nine days, and was the i

🔥DANGER OF S*X🔥

🔥DANGER OF S*X🔥 SEX IS SWEET BUT CAN DESTROY YOUR DESTINY. sex is sweet but there is poison in between the legs" (A Must Read) Most downfalls of men are caused by MULTIPLE girlfriends. Sex is a spiritual encounter I stand to be corrected, not every girl has a good spirit, some are demon, some has poison in between their legs. Some are killers and destiny destroyers, be careful. Worst is a man who can't control his sexual urge. A man who can control his sexual urge is a man who can live many years on earth. 1. Having many girlfriends does not make you a man. It only makes you a womanizer, a cheat, sinner and a boy. 2. A real man has only one woman(wife) in his life. 3. For the fact that you are good in bed does not make you a man. A real man is the man who does not run away from his responsibility but faces it squarely. 4. You don't need to sag your trousers and walk round the street before girls will love you. Infact it is only small boys that sag trousers and it is prema

**Why Henry VIII Orchestrated Every Detail of Anne Boleyn’s Execution**

Image
**Why Henry VIII Orchestrated Every Detail of Anne Boleyn’s Execution** Tudor history is littered with tales of executions gone wrong. In 1541, an inexperienced axman butchered Margaret Pole, taking upward of ten blows to dispatch the elderly noblewoman. Four decades later, Mary, Queen of Scots, —executed on the orders of her cousin Elizabeth I—required three strikes of the ax before she lost her head. Comparatively, Anne Boleyn’s execution was a relatively straightforward, albeit unprecedented, affair. On the morning of May 19, 1536, Henry VIII’s fallen queen ascended the scaffold, delivered a conventional speech praising the king as a “gentle and soverign lord" and knelt to receive the death blow. The executioner struck Anne’s head off with a single swing of his sword. Researchers have long debated  the circumstances surrounding Anne’s downfall, from the question of her guilt (most contemporary scholars agree that the charges of adultery, incest and conspiring to kill her husban

MEDIEVAL TORTURE-

Image
-MEDIEVAL TORTURE-    The Medieval period spanned about 1,000 years between the fall of the Roman Empire and the beginning of the Renaissance. During that time, the torture methods used were nothing short of inhumane.    From impalement, to the blood eagle, these execution methods prove that they mastered the art of pain in the Middle Ages.    Medieval execution was a horrifying and gruesome prospect. During the Middle Ages, the unspeakable cruelty of capital punishment was only matched by the creativity of the torture techniques. To put things into perspective, decapitation was seen as the quickest and least painful way to go.    One of the most serious crimes was high treason. Since the punishment had to fit the crime, the Medieval execution method of being hanged, drawn, and quartered combined several forms of torture.     Usually, being “drawn” simply meant that the person was pulled by a horse to his final destination. However, sometimes this word took on a far grislier meaning wh

All of Europe was stunned

Image
All of Europe was stunned . That a King of England would execute his wife and anointed Queen of England was simply beyond the pale. Europe was still reeling from Henry’s break with Rome, the annulment of his marriage to Katherine of Aragon, and the conference of illegitimacy upon their daughter, Mary. The crowned heads of Europe were outraged. So Henry tried to do some damage control by changing Anne’s method of execution from an axe to a sword. The infamous Swordsman of Calais was procured to slice off Anne’s head rather than having it chopped off by a drunken executioner. Henry perhaps felt this made him look more merciful. It did not, but he thought it did and that’s all that really mattered. Several thousand people were in attendance as Anne climbed the scaffold. Anne made a brief statement before kneeling to await the fatal blow. The people watching all knelt as well. This was unprecedented. Anne was not a beloved queen. Not by the court and not by the citizens of England. She was

WILLIAM KEMMLER

Image
WILLIAM KEMMLER William Kemmler was the first known person in the world to be executed by the electric chair. He was convicted of murdering his common-law wife with a hatchet and was executed via the electric chair on August 6, 1890. However, all did not go to plan. Before the electric currents were switched on, Kemmler apparently said, "Take it easy and do it properly, I'm in no hurry." The current passed through his body for 17 seconds at the power of 1,000 volts. This was believed to be strong enough to kill a grown man. Although he was declared dead, witnesses said they could still see him breathing. A second wave of currents were applied to Kemmler, this time at 2,000 volts. Witnesses spoke afterwards that parts of his flesh burst and even set on fire. The execution took a total of eight minutes and was exposed by the press at the time, with one newspaper remarking an axe would have been a more humane method.

The Witch Trials

Image
The Witch Trials  Women accused of witchcraft suffered horrific torture. James I was reported to have supervised the torture of some suspected witches himself. One method to tell if somebody was guilty of witchcraft was to tie their left thumb to their right toe and then toss them into a body of water, such as the moat of Oxford Castle & Prison. If they floated, they were guilty. If they didn’t, they were innocent. However, it also meant they had not survived. The image of witches burned at the stake is a popular one. However, it was not the most common execution method. Hanging was more common. Imperialism meant that English witchcraft laws applied in other countries around the world. A famous example from the North American colonies is the Salem Witch Trials. Hundreds of people were executed for witchcraft in England. The last documented execution for witchcraft in England was in 1682. While Jane Wenhamw was sentenced to hang in 1712, she was pardoned by Queen Anne. Fear of witch

A London Hanging, 1726

Image
A London Hanging, 1726 Hanging was the principle method of judicial execution in England from the 1700s until capital punishment was abolished in 1964. Hanging could be the sentence for numerous crimes ranging from burglary to murder. Until 1868, when the procedure was moved in-doors, a hanging was a public event that attracted curious crowds and generated a carnival atmosphere. The intent of this gruesome public display was to deter criminal behavior for all who witnessed it. Hangings in the London judicial area were usually performed at the village of Tyburn just outside the city on the road to Oxford. Eight "hanging days" were scheduled during the year assuring that the event would involve a number of victims. "The bodies and clothes of the dead belong to the executioner." A visiting Frenchman reveals his observations of eighteenth century England's judicial system. . . "Criminals are not executed immediately after their trial, as they are abroad, but ar

On 29 October 1618, explorer and adventurer Sir Walter Raleigh was beheaded at the Palace of Westminster, on the orders of King James I. Accused of deliberately inciting war between England and Spain during one of his expeditions, on the day of his execution he was reported to have been suffering from from ague, or fever. He was allowed to examine the executioner's axe, musing: "This is a sharp Medicine, but it is a Physician for all diseases and miseries". His last words were later uttered to the hesitant executioner: "What dost thou fear? Strike, man, strike!" fear not

Lingchi: The Gruesome History of "Death by a Thousand Cuts"

Image
Lingchi: The Gruesome History of "Death by a Thousand Cuts" Lingchi, an ancient Chinese execution technique, has a sordid past in history. Also known as "slow slicing" or "death by a thousand cuts,"  Lingchi was a type of capital punishment designed to cause the most amount of suffering possible while also serving as a deterrent.  The practice has its origins dating back to the tenth century. The penalty was reserved for more serious offences like murder or treason. An extra layer of terror was provided by the ritualistic aspect of Lingchi, which frequently involved public executions that turned the act into a macabre spectacle. This cruel procedure was intended to make the condemned suffer for a longer period of time. With a keen sword, the executioner would carefully chop off tiny pieces of the victim's body. The goal was to inflict severe suffering over a protracted period of time rather than to immediately cause death. Usually, the executioner bega

The Pear of Anguish

Image
The Pear of Anguish The Pear of Anguish was used during the Middle Ages as a way to torture women who conducted a miscarriage, liars, blasphemers and homosexuals. A pear-shaped instrument was inserted into one of the victim’s orifices: the vagina for women, the anus for homosexuals and the mouth for liars and blasphemers. The instrument consisted of four leaves that slowly separated from each other as the torturer turned the screw at the top. It was the torturer’s decision to simply tear the skin or expand the “pear” to its maximum and mutilate the victim. The Pear of Anguish was usually very adorned to differentiate between the anal, vaginal and oral pears. They also varied in size accordingly. This torture very rarely provoked death, but was often followed by other torture methods. The Breast Ripper Used as a way to punish women, the breast ripper was a painful and cruel way to mutilate a woman’s breasts. This instrument was mostly reserved for women accused of conducting a miscarria
