A Roman bronze lamp with the Apostles Peter and Paul.

"The small boat is a metaphor for the church itself, guided by the two Apostles to stay the right course. The inscription names one Valerius Severus, who belonged to a noble Christian family and owned a large estate on the Celian Hill in Rome, where the lamp was found in 1668." Per the National Archaeological Museum in Florence, Italy where this is on display.
