The eyes that saw the end of the world, 1945.
A photo of a Japanese girl who lost her sight as a result of witnessing the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.
The bomb killed over 65,000 people. Though the atomic bombs forced Japan to surrender, the US are still heavily criticized over the gross damage and devastation it caused. Furthermore, majority of casualties were innocent civilians. It was a major stance against the communist aggression by the USSR in Manchuria.
Bombs in war are still the most highly debated topic surrounding warfare, and till this day, this was 1 out of the 2 nuclear attacks in history.
